2025 Legislative Update
While the 2025 legislative session was relatively quiet for the South Dakota Manufactured Housing Association (SDMHA), the association stayed actively engaged in tracking legislation related to property taxes and other matters potentially impacting the industry. The SDMHA lobbying team also supported Senate Bill 131, which establishes an electronic system for issuing vehicle and manufactured home titles. The bill aims to significantly reduce wait times for title processing.
